FlowSlate was founded by Sam Boyajian, a senior technology executive who has built his career at the intersection of construction, field services, and enterprise IT. A former industry CIO who arrived there through operational and business leadership roles—not the traditional IT ladder—Sam brings a business-first perspective grounded in real-world execution.
Over the last two decades, Sam has led technology and business transformation in complex, risk-sensitive industries such as construction, energy, building automation, and professional services. As CIO of Canada’s largest specialty construction contractor, he oversaw a national IT and data organization, managed enterprise cybersecurity, modernized legacy systems, and launched data governance and AI adoption at scale. Earlier in his career, he held P&L responsibility in energy and building technology businesses, giving him a rare ability to connect financial, operational, and technical outcomes.
